Went to Ikea today, finally! I really like Ikea because they always have very nice useless things. Perfect for Joan! :D

Bought 1 coffee press to replace our broken bodum one, 2 sauce plate, 2 sushi plate in anticipation of future sushi making (to quote Gerald, 'You're making sushi, right?' to justify the 2 sushi plates), shower curtains to replace the one that Gerald tore (please don't ask me how; suspects kinky bathroom action while I was away), slip mats for the bath tub, lint roller because it was cheap, measuring cups because they were cute and too cheap to resist, wall mirrors for my vanity, and 2 plastic bags because they don't give out free plastic bags for you to carry whatever you've bought.

I'm actually quite surprised at how little we've bought!

Unfortunately, Tesco Extra was just opposite Ikea; just for the people who don't know, Tesco is a supermarket. Tesco Extra is a huge warehouse excuse for a supermarket where it sells everything and could positively feed a whole town during wartime. So we got excited because this was the first time we saw Tesco Extra; ended up buying more groceries than household stuff that we had planned to get from Ikea.

School starts tomorrow. First class, statistics! How exciting. This year will be my most hardworking year. I think I will appreciate school life a lot more now after my internship because no matter how bad you think school life is, it cannot beat working life!!! :)
